Organic cotton from the Brazilian Northeast, wild rubber from the Amazon, eco-leather, veja tries to invent different ways of working. The Veja project is based on three strong principles: 1. favour ecological materials. How is this done? By replacing traditional cotton, voracious in pesticides, with organic cotton; by supporting the production of wild rubber in Amazonia to fight against deforestation; by using ecological leather, tanned with vegetal elements rather than chrome-tanned leather. 2. Using fair trade cotton and rubber. 3. Making products with dignity. Veja proposes a new way of thinking and acting by creating a solidarity and ecological chain from producer to consumer.
